感言

我的十二歲兒子 Edison，想不到他這麼容易適應一個新的環境，真教我驚喜。他暑假參加了 ELI  的少年英語樂加多元活動課， 在卡洛市遊學的三個星期裡，我跟 Edison 和他的接待家庭差不多每天都透過Whatsapp交談聯繫，實在非常高興看到孩子享受他在愛爾蘭的每一天，每天變得越來越獨立，懂得自己照顧 自己。他很喜歡課堂上的積極互動學習氣氛非常細心的老師和友善的歐洲同學。他跟接待家庭的孩子非常談得來，也很容易跟他們的朋友及鄰居交上朋友，一班年齡 相若的孩子們在漫長的夏日假期裡，常常走在一起作戶外活動，往中古城堡跑或是踢他非常喜愛的愛爾蘭式足球，打愛爾蘭式曲棍球。週日的家庭日，接待家庭一家人驅車帶 Edison 到處遊玩，他非常開心。他從未想過在完全沒有機會說中文的情況下，自己可以這麼有自信，這麼容易，可以一整天只說英文和英語是母語的人溝通。
